Konami has announced the MGS 5 prequel Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the first quarter of 2014.
The game will be available for purchase in retail and downloadable versions for both platforms.
Launch details for the next title in the series, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, have yet to be confirmed.
