Marvelous AQL producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto has commented on upcoming releases for 2014.
“First (in 2014 will be) Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land, and we’ll (also) be publishing Valhalla Knights 3 Gold,” said Hashimoto. “Some other things are being worked on now, so we hope they’ll be announced and available to the market soon.”
As reported earlier, Marvelous AQL announced the upcoming release of a new Harvest Moon title, Bokujo Monogatari: Tsunagari Shin Tenchi (Ranch Story: Connecting New Worlds), for Nintendo 3DS in Japan for February.
Hashimoto explained the significance of the sequel’s title: “One meaning of that lies in the connectivity functions we use. The game supports (Nintendo’s) StreetPass and Wi-Fi; you can trade assorted data with friends and you can also visit each other’s farms. It also refers to connecting with the world, making connections to other countries via trade.”
Japanese sales of Valhalla Knights 3 for the PlayStation Vita, released in last May, have been strong. Xseed launched Valhalla Knights 3 for PS Vita in North America and Europe last October.
Marvelous AQL has yet to confirm overseas releases for Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land and Valhalla Knights 3 Gold.
