Nippon Ichi Software will release a handheld version of the popular strategy RPG Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten in North America and Europe. The Sony PlayStation Vita edition will launch in mid-2014.
The home console version of Disgaea 4 was released in Japan and overseas for the Sony PlayStation 3 in 2011. The series was first launched in Japan with Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2003.
Pricing and exact details for the European and North American releases have yet to be confirmed by the publisher.
