Perfect World Entertainment has announced the conclusion of closed alpha testing for the publisher’s highly anticipated MMORPG Swordsman. Closed beta testing is slated to begin worldwide later this year.
“Bringing Swordsman to a Western audience is something we’ve wanted to do all along,” said Perfect World Publishing GM Andrew Brown. “With its rich story and engaging gameplay, Swordsman is a cultivation of our previous and successful titles we’ve brought over from our parent company Perfect World.”
The Beijing-based online publisher’s previous titles include Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter, Star Trek Online and Blacklight: Retribution. An official global release date for Swordsman has yet to be announced by Perfect World.
