Agate Studio has released the online RTS Sengokuixa in Indonesia, developed and localised in partnership with Square Enix.
Sengokuixa has over 1.1 million players in Japan. Agate localised the title from Japanese to Bahasa, and also created the game’s Indonesian tutorial. Agate CEO Arief Widhiyasa says the company is already planning their next collaboration with Square Enix.
According to Kurniadih Sutanto, Logitech’s regional manager in Indonesia, the domestic PC game market grew 25 per cent from 2010 to 2012, and is expected to continue to grow rapidly in the near future.
