US-based Aksys Games has partnered with Japanese Black Tower Studios to co-develop a new action RPG for Sony PlayStation 3. Magus is slated for North American retail and PlayStation Network digital release on 25 February.
Publisher Aksys Games was founded by former Atlus executive Akibo Shieh in 2006. The company specialises in English language localisation and North American distribution of JRPGs, and is best known for work on the Guilty Gear series in collaboration with Yokohama-based Arc System Works.

Aksys is also the North American distributor for the European publisher of niche Japanese titles Rising Star Games.
Magus will go on sale in North America for US$30 at retail and via the PlayStation Network. Details regarding distribution and pricing in other territories have yet to be announced by Aksys.
