Bandai Namco has revealed that the Japanese publisher is developing a new Digimon title exclusively for the Sony PlayStation Vita.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth will join the most recently released games in the Digimon franchise, including Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Red and Blue for the Nintendo DS released in 2011, as well as Digimon World Re:Digitize and Digimon Adventure for the Sony PlayStation Portable, launched in 2012 and 2012 respectively.
The Digimon game series from Bandai Namco started in 1998 with the Japan-exclusive title Digital Monster vs. Digimon Tamers for the Sega Saturn. The Digimon franchise also includes popular anime and manga series in Japan and overseas.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for Sony PlayStation Vita is slated for release next year.
