Capcom has announced first quarter revenues of 17.4 billion JPY for 2013, down 6.2 per cent from the same period last year, with profits of 828 million JPY, a 37.3 per cent decline.
The company’s games segment results were also poor, with sales down 9.4 per cent and operating profits declining 82.4 per cent.

According to the company, Resident Evil Revelations, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Monster Hunter Frontier G and the popular Smurfs’ Village all performed to expectations, and the web game Onimusha Soul has also recently been released in Taiwan.
Capcom’s forecast for the full financial year remains unchanged, as the company expected a decline during the quarter with no major releases.
