The Kickstarter crowdfunding platform will rollout in Australia and New Zealand from 13 November, according to a statement on the company’s website.
Kickstarter will also launch a series of Kickstarter School events in Australia prior to the official launch, to brief creators on how to design and implement a successful crowdfunding appeal.
Kickstarter has become an important online vehicle for independent developers worldwide looking to crowdfund new games. Kickstarter currently hosts projects with operations in the US, UK and Canada.
