Nintendo has announced that Hyrule Warriors, the Zelda-Dynasty Warriors crossover action title co-developed with Japanese publisher Tecmo Koei, will be released in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U on 14 August.
Hyrule Warriors (Zelda Musou in Japan), will combine the action of Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors franchise with the weapons and enemies from Nintendo’s Zelda series, according to Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.

Last December Nintendo and Tecmo Koei confirmed plans for an overseas release later in 2014.
