Konami has announced that long awaited next edition in the Metal Gear Solid franchise from game creator Hideo Kojima will be coming to Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, in addition to previously announced next-generation console releases for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4.
“Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be available on both current and next gen,” said a Konami representative in a recent interview.
The two part Metal Gear sequel will feature Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, due for a March release worldwide, and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, to be launched at a yet to be confirmed date.
