Nintendo has announced that Hyrule Warriors, the Zelda-Dynasty Warriors crossover action title co-developed with Japanese publisher Tecmo Koei, will be released in North America exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U on 26 September.
Hyrule Warriors (Zelda Musou in Japan) combines the action of Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors franchise with the weapons and enemies from Nintendo’s Zelda series.
“Since this collaboration was a first of its kind, we were able to make it a great game that’s like a celebration of both franchises,” said Tecmo Koei producer Hisashi Koinuma.
Earlier Nintendo confirmed that Hyrule Warriors would launch in Japan for Nintendo Wii U on 14 August.
