In partnership with US game developer and publisher Valve, Nexon has confirmed the launch of the popular MOBA Dota 2 in Korea.
“We are very excited to launch this highly-anticipated title in the Korean market,” said Nexon CEO Seungwoo Choi. “Nexon and Valve’s successful partnership has created the opportunity to continue the Dota franchise’s worldwide momentum and provide players in Korea with AAA content.”
Tokyo based Nexon and Valve also partner on production and distribution of Valve’s F2P shooter Counter-Strike Online 2 in China, and Nexon has an agreement with Germany’s Crytek to publish the developer’s F2P shooter Warface in Asia, with a distribution deal with Gamania for Taiwan recently announced.
