Nexon Releases Footage From Nexon Developers Conference 2016

Nexon released the footage from Nexon Developers Conference 16, one of the Korea’s largest game developer conferences, hosted by Nexon’s consolidated subsidiary, Nexon Korea Corporation (“Nexon Korea”).

This year marked the conference’s 10th anniversary as one of the largest conferences in Korea for game developers and drew a record-breaking 20,680 visitors. The conference footage includes exciting highlights from the three-day event, condensed into a three minute movie that features popular sessions, art exhibitions and VR experience zone. In addition, the clips recreate the event’s lively and crowded atmosphere to make viewers feel as if they were part of the original experience. The footage also includes an interview with Owen Mahoney, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexon, in which he shares his thoughts on NDC and this year’s event theme, “Diversity.”

Nexon Developers Conference was first held in 2007, and NDC16 marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which brings together game developers from around the world to share their development experience and expertise. The event has been open to the public since 2011 and, as the number of sessions offered continues to increase, is drawing more attendees every year. NDC has become one of the largest conferences for game developers in Korea, and in 2016 the event drew a record-breaking 20,680 visitors.
