Korean electronics maker Samsung is reportedly finalising development of a virtual reality headset, Samsung Gear VR, in partnership with Oculus VR.
Samsung Gear VR is also reported to be officially revealed by the company at the IFA 2014 trade show in September.
The Samsung-Oculus VR partnership was first revealed in May. Earlier this year, Samsung Innovation Lab’s senior director Alan Queen also announced that the company was developing two home game consoles, to be integrated into the Samsung Gaming Service, an online store also in development.
Details regarding Samsung Gear VR and the Samsung Gaming Service are yet to be confirmed by Samsung.
