Sony PlayStation 4 exclusive road racing title Driveclub is reportedly nearing completion, with a planned mid-2014 release.
“Driveclub will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game,” said Sony Worldwide Studios chief Shuhei Yoshida. “I’m fully confident the game will surpass your expectations.”
Evolution Studios, the developer producing the game, is “working hard to bring Driveclub” to the next-generation platform by June. “We’re really excited about how Driveclub is progressing,” said a Sony representative.
Sony announced last year that Driveclub’s scheduled launch would be delayed to give the Sony-owned UK studio additional time to polish the game’s visuals and player experience.
