Bandai Namco has announced that Tales of Xillia 2, the next entry in the publisher’s popular RPG series, will launch on Sony PlayStation 3 in North America on 19 August, with a European PS3 release scheduled for 22 August.
Tales of Xillia 2, developed and published worldwide by Bandai Namco, launched on Sony PlayStation 3 in Japan last November.
The title is the fourteenth core game in the Japanese publisher’s Tales franchise. The first game in the series, Tales of Phantasia, was originally released in Japan by Namco for the Nintendo Super Famicom in December 1995.
