Nintendo has announced that Japanese game developer and publisher Tecmo Koei is creating a Zelda-Dynasty Warriors crossover action title for the Nintendo Wii U.
The new game, tentatively called Zelda Musou (Hyrule Warriors), will combine the action of Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors franchise with the weapons and enemies from Nintendo’s Zelda series, according to Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.
Nintendo and Tecmo Koei plan a mid-2014 launch for the title in Japan, with an overseas release later in 2014.
