Indian mobile developer 99Games has announced the worldwide launch of the studio’s sports sim Million Dollar Arm for iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms.
“We are truly excited about the Million Dollar Arm game,” said 99Games Online CEO Rohith Bhat. “Sports games have done very well in the past and we are confident of hitting a homerun with (this title).”
Million Dollar Arm is based on the true story of the professional baseball talent hunt competition in India, which has also inspired a best-selling book and a film adaption by Disney.
“We are thrilled to be creating a series of cross-platform gaming experiences inspired by the Million Dollar Arm talent hunt with 99Games,” said author and co-founder of the competition J.B. Bernstein. “The Million Dollar Arm game is fun and addictive.”
