The Casual Games Association, an international trade organisation for the video games industry, is returning to Singapore to host the third annual Casual Connect Asia (CCA) on 20 – 22 May at the Shangri-La Hotel.
Casual Connect is a professional conference designed to support the mass market game community by bringing together the top developers, publishers, distributors and others involved in related industries for networking opportunities and lectures created by a board of industry members. Lectures cover an array of topics, including emerging trends, game development and the future of the industry across platforms from mobile, PC, console and web.
The International Design, Entertain, and Amaze (IDEA) showcase will also debut at Casual Connect Asia this May. Established developers looking for international partners for publishing, user acquisition, game performance monitoring, and logistical support will be presenting their recent projects in this showcase.
Confirmed speakers include Alex Kim, Director of Global Business Development at KakaoTalk, David NG, CEO of Gumi Asia, Stephen Lee, VP of Publishing at 6waves, Robin Sagacious Ng, Head of International Business at Asiasoft Online and Raymond Wong, Sr. Vice President at Tecmo Koei Singapore.
Launched in 2005, Casual Connect is hosted by the Casual Games Association, bringing together the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the casual gaming field to further the industry with the best learning and networking opportunities for casual games professionals. In addition to Casual Connect Asia, the CGA hosts Casual Connect Europe, Casual Connect USA and Casual Connect Kyiv this year.
