Capcom has announced that the Japanese publisher’s tactical RPG Mega Man Battle Network will be released on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console in North America on 31 July.
Mega Man Battle Network (Battle Network Rockman EXE in Japan) was launched on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console domestically on 9 July and in Europe on 24 July.
Mega Man Battle Network, the first title in the Mega Man Battle Network series, was originally released in Japan, Europe and North America for Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2001.
The franchise includes several spin-off games, as well as manga titles and an animated television series.
