Japanese publisher Capcom has confirmed the worldwide PC release of Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition for 28 February.
Resident Evil 4 (Biohazard 4 in Japan) is the sixth game in the popular survival horror franchise. Resident Evil 4 was originally released in Japan and overseas for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. The title has been ported to the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 2 and 3, as well for PCs in 2007 and in a mobile version for Japan in 2008. An earlier HD release was also digitally distributed via Xbox Live Games on Demand and PlayStation Network in 2011.
The title will be available for download on Steam for US$19.99 and also go on sale in Europe in a boxed version for Windows PCs.
