Namco Bandai has announced that the F2P SoulCalibur title SoulCalibur: Lost Swords will launch in Japan for Sony PlayStation 3 on 6 February.
The first SoulCalibur game was released by Namco for Japanese arcades in 1998. A North American console version released in 1999 as a launch title for the Sega Dreamcast. A digital edition for Xbox 360 was also distributed via Xbox Live Marketplace in 2008.

The publisher had earlier delayed the game’s release until this year. SoulCalibur: Lost Swords will be distributed via the PlayStation Network and is also slated for an overseas launch in 2014.
