Cyberfront, the localisation publisher of Western titles like The Walking Dead and Portal series in Japan, has been dissolved.
Established in 1998, Japanese firm made major management changes earlier this year following a buyout by Kaga Electronics, and suggested continuing business difficulties in the dissolution statement from the company’s board of directors.
As reported earlier, Lab Zero’s Skullgirls was to be published next year by CyberFront on PSN in Japan, and the publisher was also due to release Tokyo Shin Seiki: Operation Abyss in January. The company’s plans for these titles as well as Cyberfront’s catalogue are yet to be announced.
