Tokyo-based DeNA has announced the worldwide release of The Collectables on the publisher’s Mobage game service. The F2P action adventure game is also the mobile debut for renowned German game developer and CryEngine development software provider Crytek.
“Crytek managed to do the unthinkable and integrate their remarkable CryEngine technology into the company’s first free-to-play mobile game,” said DeNA strategic partnerships chief Barry Dorf. “The Collectables is a visually stunning and explosive gameplay experience that pushes the boundaries of what can be achieved on mobile devices.”
In addition to the title’s distribution for iOS and Android devices, DeNA’s social mobile game platform will manage player acquisition, promotion, PR and cross-promotion with other mobile titles on the Mobage platform.
