Clive Downie had been replaced by Shintaro Asako as DeNA West CEO (formerly Ngmoco, acquired by DeNA in 2010). Downie resigned his post to join US based social game publisher Zynga as COO.
Downie is an industry veteran, having overseen several major game franchises at Electronic Arts before joining Ngmoco as VP of Studios before DeNA’s purchase of the company for circa US$400 million in cash and equity in 2010.
