Korean mobile publisher Gamevil has followed up on their recent acquisition of domestic rival Com2uS with the purchase of mobile studio Nine Wheels and equity investments in developers Everple and DBROS.
Gamevil invested circa US$65 million for a majority (21 per cent) stake in competitor Com2uS last week. In the second quarter of this year, Com2uS reported revenues down eight per cent year on year due to lower than expected results from new releases.

Nine Wheels is the developer of the popular F2P iOS sim Grape Valley. Everple created the mobile social game Monster Warlord, and DBROS currently developing the mobile sim Ocean Tales. All three studios have had publishing contracts with Gamevil.
