Sony has announced that two Invizimals games will be launched in North America later this year.
The North American release of Invizimals: The Alliance, an augmented reality multiplayer title for Sony PlayStation Vita and the third-person action adventure Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom for Sony PlayStation 3 will mark the return of the series to North America, and will coincide with the launch of an animated series based on the franchise.
The first Invizimals card-based AR game for children ages 8-12 was launched in Europe for Sony PlayStation Portable in 2009, and debuted in North America in 2010. Two AR sequels, Invizimals: Shadow Zone and Invizimals: The Lost Tribes, were also released in Europe last year.
