The Japanese National Football Association has granted UK-based developer Team Football the right to feature “Samurai Blue” players in the studio’s upcoming Official Japan Soccer football sim for iOS, Android and Windows 8 devices.
“When we founded Team Football our goal was to work with high profile licenses such as Japan to help raise the profile of our games,” said Team Football Creative Director Steve Huckle. “By adding the Japan National Football team license we are also giving those who play our game the authenticity of the player names, team kit and emblem. With football high on the agenda for fans of Japan this summer we’re sure they’ll enjoy playing our game and attempting to perform as well or better than the national side by playing Official Japan Soccer on their chosen platform!”
Official Japan Soccer will feature the full international “Samurai Blue” squad and be localised into eight languages including Japanese for worldwide release. The launch date for Official Japan Soccer has yet to be announced by Team Football.
