Koei Tecmo has announced that a remake of the Japanese publisher’s RTS Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War is in development. The original title was released worldwide for Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in 2007.
The new title, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War & Nightmare, is also being developed by Japanese studio Omega Force with producer Akihiro Suzuki returning to the helm.
“(Koei Tecmo is) looking to expand upon the foundation of the original (title), but we also intend to introduce a load of new elements into the game,” said Suzuki in a statement.
The platform(s) and release schedule for Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War & Nightmare have yet to be announced by Koei Tecmo.
