Japanese sports RPG Inazuma Eleven (Lightning Eleven) will launch in North America for Nintendo 3DS in the first quarter of 2014, according to a statement by Nintendo.
The popular franchise from Japanese studio Level-5 was first published domestically in 2008, with the original game’s European debut in 2011. Two Inazuma Eleven sequels have been released in Japan for Nintendo DS and 3DS, and three spin-off titles have also been produced for Nintendo’s Wii console.
Launch details and information regarding overseas release in other territories have yet to be announced.
