Koei Tecmo has announced that Samurai Warriors 4, the newest entry in the Japanese publisher’s popular hack and slash game series, will be released for Sony PlayStation 3, PS4 and PS Vita in North America on 21 October and in Europe on 24 October.
The Samurai Warriors series is a spinoff of Koei Tecmo’s long-running Dynasty Warriors franchise. The first title was originally released for Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox in 2004.
Samurai Warriors 4 was first announced in late 2013 and launched earlier this year in Japan.
