Japanese game and anime producer Marvelous AQL reported first quarter revenues of 4.4 billion JPY, up 46.2 per cent year on year. The company also revised its operating profit forecast up 30 per cent for the first half.
Japanese sales of Valhalla Knights 3 for the PS Vita, released in May, were strong for the period. In the US, Pandora’s Tower for Wii also sold well and the ARPG Cross Horizon saw its iOS and Android debut. Marvelous has also been investing in expansion of the company’s online business overseas.
