Enterbrain has confirmed that the highly anticipated new Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games have sold out in Japan just ahead of the titles’ global launch.
Japanese retail pre-orders for Pokémon X and Y have reached 1.26 million and figures in NA have topped 400,000 units, according to the company.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for Nintendo’s 3DS/2DS handheld consoles will go on sale worldwide on 12 October.
