Sega has confirmed an overseas release for Crypton Future Media’s virtual singer game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f on PlayStation Vita in early 2014.
“We’re excited to bring this global phenomenon and share it with fans in the West,” said Sega of America President John Cheng.”Now gamers will be able to experience and enjoy Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f anywhere, anytime, and on the go with the portable.”
The fifth title in the popular Hatsune Miku series was released by Sega on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan last year, and this year’s success of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for PlayStation 3 overseas has led Sega to produce a portable version for Western release as well.
Exact release dates and pricing details for North America and Europe have yet to be announced.
