Japanese electronics firm Toshiba has partnered with Taiwanese streaming technology provider Ubitus to develop a line of smart televisions that support cloud-based gaming. The new models (L3400U, L5400U, L7400U) will launch in North America in Q1 2014.

The Ubitus GameNow service on Toshiba’s new TVs will feature PC games from Capcom and Warner Bros., including Capcom’s Devil May Cry 4, Dead Rising 2 and Resident Evil 5, as well as Warner Bros.’ Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

Ubitus also has GameNow platform partnerships with Sega, Konami and Square Enix to offer streaming versions of games like Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and Dragon Quest X.
