Bandai Namco has released a F2P version of the JRPG Tales of Phantasia for iOS devices.
The original Tales of Phantasia was developed by Telenet Japan and released domestically by Namco for the Nintendo Super Famicom console in 1995. An exclusive Japanese version was also ported to Sony PlayStation in 1998. A Nintendo Game Boy Advance edition was launched in Japan in 2003, with North American and European releases for Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Sony PlayStation Portable in 2006.
Further details regarding plans for a mobile Android version and ports to other handheld platforms have yet to be confirmed by the publisher.
