Sony has announced that PlayStation TV, a rebranded version of the PlayStation Vita TV device previously launched in Asia, will be released in Europe and North America.
The PlayStation TV unit, connected to a television with a Sony DualShock controller, provides access to PlayStation Now games, PS Vita and PlayStation Classics downloads, as well as streamed music and video.
Last September Sony announced that PlayStation Vita TV would be released in China, Korea and other Asian markets in January. PS Vita TV went on sale in Japan on last November.
