The Asian offline Qualifier for ESL One, Counter Strike: Global Offensive at gamescom 2015 will take place in July and will feature eight top teams from around the region with one slot is specifically reserved for a Malaysian Team. In order to choose the team that will represent our country at the Asian qualifier, Turtle Entertainment (The Company behind Electronic Sports League / ESL) will be organizing the Malaysian Qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2015 on 27 June. According to the rules, more than 50% of the team must reside in Malaysia or having Malaysian nationality in order to participate in the qualifier. Since Malaysia has its own qualifier, Malaysian teams are not eligible to take part in the Southeast Asia qualifier for ESL One at the gamescom in Cologne in August 2015. As opposed to the Asian offline qualifier, the Malaysia qualifier will be taking place online. Registration is free of charge but for participating teams that are not used to compete through ESL’s tournament Website.
