Major League Gaming has confirmed this year’s Call of Duty Championship for Australia and New Zealand. Online and LAN qualifiers are scheduled for February, and the ANZ COD Championship Final is set for Sydney on 1 March.
Three Australian online qualifier teams will join one online qualifier team from New Zealand Online Qualifier in finals competition in Sydney. Four winning teams from the preliminary LAN qualifier rounds in Melbourne will also compete in the finals.
The 2014 ANZ COD Championship Final prize pool is AU$15,000. The top two ANZ finalist teams will qualify for the worldwide 2014 Call of Duty Championship, slated for late March in the US.
