Fall JP/KR/SG launch for Xbox One

Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox One, the company’s next-generation home gaming console, will roll-out in 26 countries including Korea, Japan and Singapore on 4 September.

According to Microsoft, a number Asian game companies are developing titles for the Xbox One, including Arc System Works, Acquire, Altus, SNK Playmore, Kadokawa Games, Capcom, Gung Ho Online Entertainment, Cave, Genki, Tecmo Koei, Konami, CyberConnect2, Square Enix, Spike Chunsoft, Sega, Tango Gameworks, Teikutsu Interactive, Nippon Ichi Software, Bandai Namco, From Software, Marvelous AQL and Level Five.



Xbox One debuted in thirteen territories on 21 November last year, including the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this month Microsoft announced that over 5 million Xbox One units had been sold-through to retailers worldwide since the console’s initial launch.
