Actor Jackie Chan became the first celebrity to be appointed the Anti-Drug Ambassador in Singapore. Jackie Chan received the appointment at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapopre, during the launch of a new anti-drug mobile game application developed by Aversion and the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB). This game is based on the concept of complete drug avoidance. In this game, players aim to avoid contact with drugs and various obstacles. Along the way, they learn of the harm that different drugs can cause. The mobile game application ‘Aversion’ was developed by students of the polytechnic’s School of Interactive and Digital Media to spread awareness on the dangers of drug abuse.
