IRL Shooter, a live FPS game combining laser-tag technology and realistic weapon props, will launch a new event dubbed Patient 0 in Sydney in 2014.
The first zombie-shooter edition in Melbourne attracted 6000 players over a four-month run last year. The game’s Australian creators are promising weapon improvements, new equipment options and several map upgrades for the Sydney event.

“What we did well in Melbourne was an immersive event,” said IRL Shooter co-founder David Leadbetter. “What we didn’t do well was the gaming side, so now we’ve rebuilt everything from the ground up.”
Tickets for IRL Shooter: Patient 0 in Sydney will be limited to 10,000 and go on sale via Pozible on 16 December.
