Famitsu reports that Monster Hunter 4 for Nintendo 3DS in Japan has sold more than 3 million units since the game’s launch on 14 September.
The latest edition in Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise also sold 1.88 million units just days after its Japanese release, and continues to average 40,000 units in weekly sales in Japan.
As reported earlier, Capcom posted strong sales growth, up 16.9 per cent year-on-year, and rising profits for most recent six-month fiscal period, which included MH4 revenues.
