Square Enix has released the F2P RPG Rise of Mana for iOS devices in Japan. The new title is part of the publisher’s popular Secret of Mana series.
The franchise began in Japan as part of the Final Fantasy series in 1991. The latest title, Circle of Mana, was released last year for iOS and Android in partnership with Gree. Mana games have sold over 6 million units worldwide.
Square Enix will reportedly also release an Android version of the game later this year. Overseas localisation for Rise of Mana has yet to be confirmed by the publisher.
