As the games publishing industry faces significant new challenges worldwide with the rise of mobile games, Chinese and overseas business leaders will gather next week in Shanghai to map out strategies for future collaboration and growth in China and abroad. The setting will be the world’s largest games industry event, ChinaJoy, and the annual World Mobile Game Conference (WMGC).
ChinaJoy’s business and developer events will host more than 400 companies based in China and overseas, including top domestic players Netease, Tencent, Perfect World and Changyou, as well as international market leaders like Blizzard, Crytek, EA, Intel, Logitech, NVIDIA, Ubisoft and Unity.

China’s big three telecom operators – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom – will also be joined at WMGC lectures, workshops and seminars by many established and emerging mobile game profiles like Tencent, 360, 91.com, UCweb, CocoaChina and iDreamSky.
More than 200,000 visitors are also expected to attend the hugely popular ChinaJoy game exhibition and special consumer events on 25-28 July in Shanghai, including ChinaJoy Cosplay, Miss ChinaJoy and ChinaJoy Live, as well as Intel Extreme Master (IEM), Video Games Live (VGL) and ChinaJoy Princess, premiering at this year’s show.
