Sony has confirmed that the on-going private beta of the publisher’s PlayStation Now game streaming platform will expand to owners of the company’s newest Bravia 4K and select 1080p televisions in North America on 7 July.
Last month Sony revealed that the private beta of PlayStation Now for PlayStation 4 would transition to open beta in North America on 31 July, to be extended to Sony PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platforms shortly thereafter.
Announced in January, the PlayStation Now game streaming and rental platform will allow Sony hardware owners (including PS4/PS3 consoles, handheld PS Vita and other Sony devices like HDTVs, tablets and smart phones) to stream games from PlayStation Now cloud servers.
Sony PlayStation Now is scheduled to roll-out worldwide in mid-2014.
