Soldgers, the Singapore-based ecommerce company behind the popular Southeast Asian online shopping and auction sites Sold.sg and Sold.my, now expands to the Philippines with Gamers.ph.
Gamers.ph has partnered with local distributor X-Play Online as a key supplier for the new website. X-Play’s Boni Ong says, “Gamers.ph provides a whole new venue for online auction and shopping. Given how competitive Filipinos can be, we can’t wait to see how they will engage in the online bidding for the best titles and gaming gear.”
In anticipation of the Gamers.ph launch, Soldgers’ Angeline Tham said, “The site is run by gamers, so we know by heart what each kind of gamer looks for. From the hottest game releases, to the best deals, competitive gaming equipment and bundles — it’s definitely a shopping haven for gamers.”
Soldgers was founded in Singapore by former bankers Tian Qiuyan and Angeline Tham in 2010, and the company expanded their online shopping and auction platform Sold.sg to Malaysia with Sold.my in 2011.
