Taiwanese cloud streaming technology firm Ubitus has announced a partnership with Korean telecom LG Uplus and Japanese game publisher Konami to bring the popular Pro Evolution Soccer (Winning Eleven) franchise to set-top boxes and smart TVs in Korea.
The cloud gaming version of PES 2014, which will not require a computer or console to play, is due to roll-out first on Google TV set-top boxes and LG Smart TVs in Korea.
Overseas availability of PES 2014 for set-top boxes and smart TVs is yet to be confirmed.
