In conjunction with today’s release of Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated new FPS Titanfall in Australia and New Zealand, the company has implemented dedicated servers in Australia to accommodate players from the region.

During earlier closed beta testing for the title, the nearest data centre for AU/NZ Titanfall players was based in Singapore.

“EA, Respawn and Microsoft are excited to share the news that Titanfall players based in Australia and New Zealand will be able to connect to Australian-based servers on all platforms,” said an EA Australia spokesperson in a statement.

Titanfall officially launched for Xbox One and Windows PCs on 11 March in North America, with a 13 March release slated for Australia/New Zealand and Europe, and a 14 March launch for the UK. The Xbox 360 version will be available on 25 March in North America and 28 March in Europe.
